SDC Steering Committee

In 2016, NCPRD embarked on a process to update the District’s System Development Charges (SDCs) Methodology.   The District Advisory Board (DAB) was holding regular study sessions to provide direction and recommendations to the Board of Directors and lead community outreach efforts.  Midway through this process the City of Happy Valley announced their intention to leave the District and the project was put on hold due to the impact this action would have on the SDC Methodology and Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), a component of the SDC Methodology.

At its September business meeting, the NCPRD Board of Directors passed a motion to reinstate the remaining DAB members—excluding those that reside within Happy Valley’s city limits—as the SDC Steering Committee.  In this capacity, the remaining District Advisory Board members will provide recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the SDC Methodology Update and future SDC rates.
