    NCPRD Piranhas  SWIM TEAM

     

    The NCPRD Piranhas is an age-group program for recreational, experienced and competitive swimmers ages 8 – 18. The Piranhas coaching staff emphasizes fun and teamwork while focusing on proper swimming technique, training for competition, and developing each swimmer’s overall fitness level.

     

    The spring season will run March 5 – May 31.

     

    *Two affordable monthly fee options are available: see below for pricing details.  ALL Monthly Fees will be due on the 5th of each Month(March 5, April 5, May 5 2012.

     

    There will be three levels, based on age and ability (Gold, Blue and Red).

     

    Level placement will be assigned at the mandatory orientation by the coaches.

     

    One mandatory orientation must be attended by each participant and their parent/guardian(s). Orientations will be held Saturday, January 21 at 10am OR Thursday, February 23 at 6pm. Participants must be prepared to swim at the orientation. Level placement and registration will directly follow the mandatory orientation.

     

    No Practices will be held March 26-29 and/or May 28.

     

    GOLD GROUP

    • Practices 4 days per week
    • Monday – Thursday from5:15pm to 6:30pm
    • Prerequisites:
    • Middle – High School age
    • Able to complete 5 x 100 Freestyle on 2 minute interval
    • Ability to demonstrate 25 yards of each competitive stroke (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle)
    • Fees:
    • With Pass – $45 Monthly*
    • Without Pass – $70 Residents | $80 Non-Residents Monthly
    • $20 Annual Fee due at Registration

     

    BLUE GROUP

    • Practices 4 days per week
    • Monday - Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:15pm
    • Prerequisites:
    • Able to complete 50 consecutive yards of Freestyle with side-breathing
    • Demonstrate basic knowledge of each competitive stroke (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle)
    • Display skills equivalent to NCAP swim lesson Level E
    • Fees:
    • With Pass – $30 Monthly*
    • Without Pass – $60 Residents | $70 Non-Residents Monthly
    • $20 Annual Fee due at Registration

     

    RED GROUP

    • Practices 2 days per week
    • Monday |Wednesday from 4:30pm to 5:15pm OR Tuesday | Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:15pm
    • Prerequisites:
    • Able to complete 50 consecutive yards of Freestyle with side-breathing
    • Demonstrate basic knowledge of each competitive stroke (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle)
    • Display skills equivalent to NCAP swim lesson Level E
    • Fees:
    • With Pass – $20 Monthly*
    • Without Pass – $35 Residents | $45 Non-Residents Monthly
    • $20 Annual Fee due at Registration
