NCPRD Board of Directors to meet Aug. 17; public welcome to attend remotely

The Board of Directors of the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) is scheduled to hold a public meeting beginning at 6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17.  The meeting will be held through Zoom and the public will be able to comment during the public input time.

There will be time for public comment at the meeting.  Comments and questions may also be submitted by email in advance or during the meeting to ClackCoNews@clackamas.us.  Please use subject line:  DAB Bylaws Aug. 17, provide your name and email address, and keep your comments to under three minutes in length.

At the Aug. 17 meeting, the Board of Directors, made up of the members of the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners, will review the by-laws of the NCPRD Advisory Board.  The work had been scheduled for spring 2020, but was put on pause when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

NCPRD is a County Service District that offers 32 parks, many acres of natural areas and sensitive habitat, and a network of trails including the 6-mile Trolley Trail in portions of northwestern Clackamas County. Additionally, NCPRD offers a wide range of programs, services and events, and operates several recreational facilities such as the North Clackamas Aquatic Park, Milwaukie Center and the Concord Property.
