Hood View Park
16223 SE Stadium Way Happy Valley, OR
Hood View is NCPRD’s newest sports complex. The construction of this park satisfied the City of Happy Valley’s request for a community park in the Rock Creek area when they voted to join the parks district in 2006. The complex features world-class ballfields with all-weather turf and a .12-mile walking path. Many community members and local groups played an important role in the planning process. A district-wide citizen contest took place to determine the park’s name, Hood View. Currently, visitors may enjoy a rural view of the northern district, Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens. Future on site developments, dependent on further funding, include a skate park and playground.
