The Milwaukie Center is pleased to announce our new Parents of Adult Children with Disabilities support group. This group will take place the fourth Wednesday of each month (January 25 and February 22) from 10:30-11:45 a.m. in the Trillium Room. Join other parents of adult children with disabilities, share your experiences and learn from others in a safe, confidential setting.

Need Help with Taxes? Call the Milwaukie Center

Volunteers, trained by the IRS and the State Department of Revenue, prepare state and federal tax returns for older adults, low income and disabled persons.

The Milwaukie Center will begin scheduling appointments by phone for the Tax-Aide Program beginning January 18. To schedule your appointment, or for more information, contact the Tax-Aide Scheduler at 503-653-8100. Appointments run February 1-April 15. The tax preparers are able to eFile your return for a quicker response.
