Volunteer

North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) offers more than 140 different volunteer positions throughout the District including at the Milwaukie Community Center, North Clackamas Aquatic Park, the District office, and dozens of outdoor park locations. Whether you’re looking to gain experience or give back to the community, we offer special training and flexible hours for a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are valued for their time, their devotion and for their creative ideas.

BUDGET COMMITTEE OPENINGS

NCPRD is seeking interested community members to serve three-year terms on the Budget Committee. The Budget Committee reviews NCPRD’s financial plans and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors (also the Board of County Commissioners) regarding the District’s budget.

Appointed by the NCPRD Board of Directors, each of the Committee’s five members must live within the district boundary. The Committee participates in at least one budget meeting each year, typically held in the spring, but members may also meet on an “as needed” basis.

The deadline for receiving applications is Monday, Sept. 30, 2024. For more information, contact Kallie Guentner at kguentner@ncprd.com or call 503-318-3976.
