Transportation Services

The Milwaukie Community Center Transportation Program offers seniors and people with disabilities the freedom of staying connected to the community. We offer door to door service to and from the Center for lunch, classes and other activities. We also provide bus transportation to a local grocery store on Tuesday and Thursday each week.

Transportation Services – To/From the Center

Door-to-door service to and from the Center for lunch, classes and other activities. Busses have wheelchair lift capacity and are operated by the Milwaukie Community Center’s Transportation Program. The fee is $1.50 per one-way ride for older adults and persons with disabilities residing in the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District. Ride scholarships are available for low income users. Riders may purchase a 5, 10 or 20-ride card. Priority pickups are people living independently and then people living in congregate settings.

Grocery Shopping

Milwaukie Community Center provides bus transportation to a local grocery store on Tuesday and Thursday each week. It’s a door-to-door service to and from the store, with assistance in getting your groceries into the house. The fee is $2 each way for older adults or persons with disabilities residing in the North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District.

 

Recreational Trips

The Center’s buses are used to transport people to popular destinations through the Travel Program. To check up-coming trips, click on the Recreation button on the top left toolbar and scroll down to Travel.
