Friends of the Milwaukie Center
The Friends of the Milwaukie Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, opened its doors in 1980, the same year as the Center, with the intention of fund-raising to support programs and services and to provide community outreach. The funds raised by the Friends help support class scholarships, the client assistance fund, Meals on Wheels, bus transportation and special projects. Friends of the Milwaukie Center Board of Director meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday at 9:30 am. The public is welcomed and encouraged to attend.
