Through community engagement and surveys, we learned that residents want more trails and greenways, and their vision is to create better connections to weave these assets together.
Greenways create park connections and corridors which may include natural areas as well as developed lands such as abandoned railroad rights-of-way and power lines. They may provide wildlife corridors and benefits to natural systems. They are linear in nature, often include trails and are used as pedestrian and bike corridors.
