Boat dock sections removed at Milwaukie Bay Park for winter storage

Milwaukie, OR – A portion of the boat dock is scheduled to be removed from Milwaukie Bay Park on Thursday, Oct. 31.

The dock is highly susceptible to debris buildup, including logs and downed trees floating downstream, which can cause damage to the structure. River conditions this time of year are constantly changing due to rainfall, snowmelt runoff and dam levels. Boarding dock sections are removed each winter for temporary storage to prevent costly damage.
