Volunteer

North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) offers more than 140 different volunteer positions throughout the District including, the Milwaukie Community Center, North Clackamas Aquatic Park, the District office and dozens of outdoor park locations. Whether you’re looking to gain experience or give back to the community, we offer special training and flexible hours for a wide variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are valued for their time, their devotion and for their creative ideas.


Current Opportunities

Homewood Park Enhancement
Celebrate the 27th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day of Service by getting out in the community and helping to enhance a beloved park and natural area. On January 17, join your neighbors in pulling invasive ivy and repairing the trail at Homewood Park in Milwaukie. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.

Spring Park & Elk Rock Island Habitat Enhancement
Join NCPRD in improving habitats along the Willamette River. Volunteers will be maintaining trails, planting native plants, and placing Christmas trees for fish habitat. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.

Hull Property Planting Event
Please join us in our efforts to restore habitat at the Hull Property in Jennings Lodge. Volunteers are needed to help plant native vegetation. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.

Please join us as we work to enhance habitat at North Clackamas Park. Volunteers will help with pulling weeds and planting native vegetation. Tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.
