Registration FAQs

Here are some helpful hints and the answers to some frequently asked questions to get you started with our new online registration system.

Do I need to create a new account?
Yes, all patrons will need to create a new account with the new system.

How do I manage my account or create a new account?
Click here for instructions on creating a new account. To manage your account moving forward, visit the CivicRec online registration system.

What if I do not have an email address?
NCPRD staff can assist you with creating an account to register for programming.  Later, if you obtain an email address, it can be added it to your existing account. Please contact us at (503) 794-8080.

Will I be able to view the available activities and leagues before registration opens for that season?
Yes, you will be able to view any activities and leagues that are available in the system.

Will all programs and classes be included in the registration system?
Registration on the new CivicRec system includes all NCPRD recreational classes, activities and camps. Youth sports and adult softball will still register using ncprdsports.com until further notice.

What’s the best way to search for activities/programs?
There are several ways to search for activities and programs! If searching by keyword, keep it simple. i.e. “tai” for Tai Chi Class and “basket” for basketball leagues and activities. Once you’re into a list of activities/leagues, use the search filters on the left to really narrow your search. It’s very easy to search by age, day, time and more!

What time does registration begin?
Registration opens at 9 a.m. on the specified registration date identified for that season. For example, 2018 summer registration is on April 10th at 9 a.m. for NCPRD residents and on April 17th at 9 a.m. for non-residents.

What if I sign up in advance for the wrong class? There is a $5 processing fee for each change to the initial registration purchase.

Can I access receipts for past programs and activities? You will not be able to access any previous transaction records (prior to April 10th) on the new system. If you need receipts for tax purposes, please contact us at recreation@ncprd.com.

Is there a detailed receipt available in the new system? Once your payment is confirmed, a Registration/Payment receipt will be populated to your screen.  Later, if you need to re-access your detailed activity information or receipt:
– Log in to your account.
– Click the Account button (on the upper-left hand side of the page).
– Click the Transaction History button (on the right side of the page).
– Select the desired receipt from the list of transactions, which will take you to the detailed receipt.

How do I access my existing account credit? Staff can verify your current account credit and add it to your new account.  Contact us at recreation@ncprd.com or call the Aquatic Park front desk (503) 794-8080 and we will assist you.
