Community Gathering and Design Update for the New Park at Concord Property

NCPRD is currently designing a new park on the Concord Property in Oak Lodge. The nearly 2-acre park will be situated alongside the historic Concord Elementary School building and new Oak Lodge Library, and will provide opportunities for inclusive recreation and connections to nature. Now in the final phase of the park design, the project team has exciting details on park features to share with the community.

May Day Lei Day

May 1st is Lei Day, the celebration of aloha and the giving of a lei. Learn to make two leis, a ribbon weave lei and an eyelash yarn
(aka Fun Fur) lei. These leis are easy, fun and can be presented as gifts on May Day or for friends and family members who are graduating. All materials will be provided. Register by March 28 and you will be able to pick the colors for your leis. Otherwise, a variety of colors will be provided.
