Grab a lawn chair or a blanket and bring the entire family to enjoy live chamber music at North Clackamas Park. This concert is FREE and open to all ages. Proclaimed “a phenomenon” by the Los Angeles Times and “one of the best pianists of his generation” by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Stewart Goodyear is an accomplished concert pianist, improviser, and composer. Partnering with the phenomenal Clancy Newman who, as a composer, has expanded cello technique in ways previously thought impossible—particularly in his “Pop-Unpopped” project, where he writes solo cello caprices based on pop songs. This concert will be presented in partnership with Chamber Music NW summer festival and SoundsTruck NW, the Pacific Northwest’s premier mobile venue.
